This undeveloped state park is adjacent to busy Route 6, but as soon as you retreat into its forested realm, the traffic noise fades away and is replaced by bird song and the rustle of leaves. The route visits three kettle ponds surrounded by stately pines. Pick a dry spell to walk the trails and dirt roads here: they are muddy after it rains. Please respect all private property.
