Crowes Pasture Conservation Area is a victory for open space in an era that has seen the building of trophy homes beside the Cape’s environmentally sensitive beaches and marshes. This loop takes you through woodland, along the shore of Cape Cod Bay, beside Quivett Creek and its bordering salt marsh, and through restored open fields—wildflower-filled in late summer and fall. Time your walk to start about two or three hours after high tide; this way, you will have more room on the beach, and the sand will be firm.
