This short and easy walk explores a beautiful woodland just north of Route 6A and adjacent to Scorton Creek. The creek is bordered by an extensive salt marsh, and views of the marsh are available from the trail. Closely packed houses along East Sandwich Beach can be glimpsed in the distance, offering a reason, if one is needed, to preserve tracts of open space.

Great little walking trail! Very easy access, clean well kept trails, well marked. The only downside is I wish it was longer! I walked to this trail every morning with my mother and sister from our beach house during our vacation and it was a welcome addition to our morning excercise. This trail can be completed by any fitness level and is clear enough for a trail run! I will definately be back next time I'm in Sandwich!

This was a pleasant, level, woods trail but the views of the marsh were only from a couple of short side trails. The worst part was the very extensive poison ivy. I'm not paranoid about PI but there were several spots where it was virtually impossible not to make contact with it. The best part was the many large American Holly trees.
