Pinnacle Peak Trail offers northeastern valley residents a wonderful place to exercise after work or to spend a weekend afternoon with the family. The trail is scenic and well maintained and has just enough elevation gain to warrant a moderate difficulty rating.

Sunrise Trail actually has two trailheads.....one which connects from the Lost Dog Wash Trailhead off of Via Linda Ave and 124th and the other at the end of Via Linda, about 142nd street. The one starting at 142nd does not have restrooms but does have drinking fountains. This one is also a bit steeper to get to the base of Sunrise Mt. Beautiful views and not that crowded of a trail. Highly recommend this trail as well as the one off of 124th.

This is a great trail on which to take out of town visitors - easy to follow, good views and beautiful desert flora and fauna.
