This nearly 6-mile hike begins in a residential Glendale neighborhood and meanders across the easternmost side of the Verdugo Mountains. An elevation gain of 1,500 feet combines a good workout with striking panoramic views of Los Angeles, Glendale, and the San Gabriel Mountains to the north.
Residents of Glendale, La Crescenta, and La Cañada–Flintridge use this picturesque trail on a regular basis, but any hiker will find it worth the drive.
