Did the White Oak Canyon trail to the Cedar Run trail out to Skyline drive which was about 12 miles in total. Trails were in good condition and well marked. Trail descends gradually through White Oak Canyon with good vantage points for most of the falls. Alot of good photo opportunities. Ascent on the Cedar Run trail was pretty strenuous. There is a sign where the trails come together suggesting that you turn around if your are not in good phsical condition. If you aren't - turn around. The scenery is better along the White Oak Canyon portion and would probably be OK for kids. If you do continue on, make sure you have water and food. Last three miles are on skyline drive back to parking area and there are some good views of the Shenandoah Valley.
