A fun and woodsy walk, but not great in the summer or fall due to mosquitoes and horse- or deerflies—bring repellent. The area was recently opened officially under the auspices of the Lower Kennebec Regional Land Trust (LKRLT). There is an official trail map, but it does not list all the trails (which might mean that either the trails or the map is a work in progress). For example, the Quarry Trail, marked with a light blue sign, is not on the map and not marked with tree blazes, but you can follow it quite easily down to a stone quarry and get a decent view of Robinhood Cove (no water entry).
