Tough entry and exit, because the parking area is so close to the road, but there is lots to explore once you get through “the gauntlet.” The first section of this preserve runs straight between two houses and private property. Thus, not even 3 feet off the trail, there are “private” signs, and 20 feet away you can see someone’s home. These homes have other pets and “birds” (turkeys and large pheasants), which are very fun to chase if you are an offleash dog.
