This property has a great deal of Marsh River frontage and Sherman Marsh views, because half the land runs along these bodies of water. The Marsh River is in places 100 feet wide, and it is affected by the tides, so it will swell and then subside. The parking area is at the end of the road; it makes a circular drive near the preserve informational kiosk (almost like a cul-de-sac). The trail is hard-packed dirt, and it goes downhill for a way as you start out from the parking area (down toward the river).
