This area is fairly remote, but it is a really nice hour-long walk with lots to see, smell, and chase! It used to be a cross-country-skiing area, so some of the trails are wide and marked with white blazes on the trees. However, the trail markings have faded in many places and some trails have become overgrown, so I recommend simply staying on the better-trodden ones. From where you park, one trail leads directly into a large field; in the summer it is infested with ticks, so be aware.
