The trails are wide, and there are signs periodically throughout the trail system showing you where to go, but there are no formal trail markings. Even though this trail system is utilized in all seasons, it is very, very easy to get disoriented and “lost”—so please remember your Boy or Girl Scout tricks of how to find your way in the woods or bring a GPS unit or compass. Many people use this park, so you will often meet others on foot or on a mountain bike. There is a strict leash law in the town of Brunswick, so it is a very good idea to leash your dogs when you are near the parking area. I have run into a Forest Ranger on a mountain bike in the woods here and was told to put my dogs on a leash immediately.

Lost or intermingling trails. Not a lot of trail markings, but there are some nice signs. Easy to spend more time here than you planned.
