This is a lovely 67-acre preserve owned by the Sheepscot Valley Conservation Association (SVCA). The trail starts out in a large field, where you follow a row of bird houses along the edge of the field and into the woods. The tree blazes do not start up immediately as you come into the woods, so it can be a bit confusing. The map that is available is accurate in terms of what you might see and the general directions and layout of the trails, but the map’s scale seems to be a bit underestimated (personal opinion).
