This little town by the Chesapeake Bay is known not only for its port city history, but by its stately structures, narrow brick-lined streets, and classic village architecture. It is home to the Maryland General Assembly, the US Naval Academy, and historic St. John's College founded in 1696.
Terrain: largely rolling with some tough, steep hills. There are many tough climbs. The route is rideable for most fitness levels, though out-of-shape riders will have occasional difficulty. A large, relaxing park is located midway through the ride and is an excellent spot for tired riders to recover before the return trip.
