Bicycling doesn't get much better than this ride. On this ride-an easy meander through woodlands preserved by the Nature Conservancy in Wicomico County in southeast Maryland-the scenery is idyllic, the trees shelter you from prevailing winds, the pavement is smooth, the road is flat, and auto traffic is light. Awesome. Just to make it easier, the cycling club has marked the entire route with white arrows numbered 33. Terrain: virtually flat. Mostly on well-paved country roads with very little traffic.

Great introduction to road touring. This was my first ride and the low traffic, flat, clearly marked route was a pleasure. The scenery is idyllic if not spectacular and Salisbury is a one horse town -- but the ride is as good as any to get you hooked on cycling.
