Beautiful trail! Did this as a solo trip while my wife was visiting her folks (she is from the area). GREAT hike, lots of ups and downs, incredible views, well marked and no trash. I took three days to do this which is plenty of time. Hiked this counter clockwise and stopped at Refuge Cove the first night. Excellent camping areas, went for a COLD swim. Second night was at Seal Cove and was completely alone in that area, was amazing except for the storm that rolled in just after dark, but even that was kind of fun, gave my bivy tent a nice test. Day 3 was a hike across the overland trail section in the rain part of the day, but was refreshing. You hike through stands of maples, birch, pines and others. You do share the area with bears and moose, so "bear country" rules apply here. This is one of my favorite hikes to date, highly recommended.
