A small area but the riding is fun. Great place to camp with family over a weekend but you’ll have to carry camping gear on ATV. Confined area limits kids wandering off too far. Make sure everyone stays on marked trails at all times. Don’t trample vegetation around campsites. Don’t cut across meadows or shortcut between roads.

The trail was perfect for our group of 8 (2 4x4s) and 4 MTB riders. The problem was there were many "Private Property" signs and locked gates throughout the suggested route. We had to turn around 3 times after running into locked gates that were not indicated on the maps. One of the gates the one to Panorama Peak was locked but while we were there at the gate eating lunch a guided 4x4 tour from Estes drove right up to the gate, unlocked it and drove through. When we enquired about how to gain access the tour operator indicated that the land was their own private property. Not sure how this jives with the signage indicating it was National Forest land and not private property. We were disappointed that we did not get to go to the top of Panorama Peak. Vote a 3 star due to the confusing signage on private property...etc.

This trail was great! Very little traffic and great views of Colorado. Trail guide states one to two hours, I could have spend all day there. I would love to go back.
