An exciting and scenic drive. An easy trail is intertwined with a difficult trail. Choose an easy or difficult route at almost every fork. Finish at beautiful Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area. Many other great roads in the area. If you park along the trail, you’ll need a Forest Adventure Pass. A very popular area for ATVs and dirt bikes. Steep and rutted in places. Many optional sideroads from moderate to very difficult. Suitable for stock 4x4 SUVs with high ground clearance and low range gearing, provided you take the easy choices.

Great trail, not for the inexperienced.

Ran this trail with stock JKU wrangler and buddy came with MB GL, easy trail but when we went in Dec it was muddy. Tons of fun great views. Did not try the harder trails since buddy's MB was having difficult time already. Update repeated the trail and completed it. There is a bypass at near the end which should be taken if you dont want body damage. There is a NO PASS spray painted on stone at this point. Go back and to the left (right as you come back) and take this bypass.
