You can bag four waterfalls on this loop hike, each distinct from the others. First, drop off the plateau, passing an ancient hemlock, and hike along Little Fiery Gizzard Creek. Pass wide Blue Hole Falls, with its legendary swimming hole. Next, join Big Fiery Gizzard Creek and visit curtain-like Sycamore Falls. Loop around to pass the long slide of Hanes Hole Falls. Finally, visit slender and delicate School Branch Falls.
