Make no mistake—the hike to Imodium Falls is tough. Nevertheless, there are plenty of distracting sights along the way—rock overhangs, geological wonders, wild streams and deep woods, mining history and a good view. The trail makes numerous ups and downs. The footing is rocky to the extreme. So allow plenty of time to reach and enjoy this waterfall named by whitewater kayakers who dare to paddle off its 25-foot rim, below which lies a rockhouse and huge boulders upon which the water falls.
