In the 1870s the town of Park City was the site of the largest silver-mining camp in the country. In those halcyon days its population swelled to nearly 10,000 fortune seekers, and its Main Street was a veritable sinners’ den of bars, bordellos, and gambling houses. During the ensuing period of silver fever, hundreds of mines were opened, thousands of miles of tunnels were dug, more than $400 million worth of silver ore was mined, and 23 men became millionaires, including George Hearst, founder of the Hearst mining and newspaper empire. This chapter contains a thorough description of the resort including how to get there, mountain statistics, trail profiles, lodging, dining, nightlife, and entertainment.

Not a hiking trail map and a very outdated (2003) information.

The day I went was not crowded at all. Ironic since they had a bunch of fresh powder from the day before. The skies were clear, the lines were non existant. Great resort with lots of options for trails.
