Hiking Waterfalls in Georgia and South Carolina

A hidden gem I have known for 30+ years. A short walk on path that is narrow in spots with a steep fall-off so watch your footing. Falls are spectacular at almost any water level. Rocks are extremely slippery and you are advised to not climb anywhere, but especially not above the first ledge as a fall would likely cause severe injuries. Water is clear, cold and refreshing so wear a bathing suit on a warm or hot day.
Excellent short trip. The Falls are powerful and generate a cool breeze that drops the ambient temperature by at least 10 degrees from the parking lot.
