An Audubon Society property, the Broadmoor Reservation lives up to its reputation as a birding sanctuary. As soon as you walk up to the Nature Center, meadows surround the pathway teeming with bluebird, wren, and other songbird activity encouraged by birdhouses and well-managed habitat. Farther along throughout this route you’ll get up close to acres of marshland on an extensive series of boardwalks where you’re sure to see the elusive wood duck or blue heron if you have binoculars.
