Great views of the lake, good exercise from the elevation change, but the wild life are cows! My dog had fun chasing the calves. Dodging cow pies was not exactly what I expected. Once you go about a 1/4 mile in on a 4 track trail, you can take the foot trail or basically go wherever you want as the terrain is pretty open. At this time of year (Feb), I did not see anyone else around.
