The Sweet Creek Trail is a lush, magnificent 2.7 mile path in five segments and four trailheads. The described hike covers only the first two segments, with the three others listed as “options.” The initial segment, through Sweet Creek Gorge, covers 0.8 mile and passes nine waterfalls, including Annice Falls. The second segment, 0.3 mile, visits only one waterfall, Sweet Creek Falls, the best of the route’s eleven waterfalls (but not by much). The next two segments, while extremely pretty, visit no waterfalls and are listed as “options.” The fifth and final segment, to Beaver Creek Falls (the eleventh waterfall), is also described as an “option.”
