Mostly walking on sandy roads. Tons of stickers and very little actual hiking since you are following roads the entire time. Nice facilities at the start and end of the trail
Pros: Facilities at start incl. restrooms. Trail gives you a peek @ the creek if you vier off to check out the camping area. A few areas have decent trees and interesting feilds-mostly the last 1.5 miles.
Cons: Only the last mile is an actual mature trail surface, the rest is apparently tilled (!) to manage weeds (? WTF?) making it a 3" sink each footfall and shoes full of sand, and... the trail looks like s**t. So so scenery... very "anywhere" Florida with skinny pines and too much Saw Palmetto. Tick fest at the camp site where we attempted to eat lunch at a picnic table-we had to sit on the table-top w/ feet on the seats, to stop the endless march-up-our-legs of the disgusting creatures!
