Scenic Driving West Virginia

I've done this scenic drive many times during all seasons. There are some winding roads close to Berkeley Springs, so you should take your time (this is definitely not a road for speeding). The drive is a lovely way to get from Berkeley Springs, WV to Cumberland, MD without having to drive a single mile on the highway. I don't think there is a single place between the above two towns to stop for gas, so be sure to fill up before you leave. Give yourself enough time to explore the C&O Canal trail and tunnel new Paw Paw, WV (I suggest taking a flashlight for your walk through the tunnel!). I live in beautiful south-central PA, so I'm spoiled when it comes to views and vistas... otherwise I would rank this route a 5-star.
