Indescribable scenic beauty and fascinating geology on a somewhat disjointed three-part drive. There are any number of ways to tackle the somewhat daunting, though visually appealing, challenge of the Moab area. The town is a veritable campaign headquarters for half-day outings in every direction. Your driving strategies here will likely depend on the type of vehicle you are driving and where you plan to overnight. Special attractions: Terrific sandstone formations, views of Canyonlands and the snow-capped La Sal Mountains, dinosaur tracks, petroglyphs, rock climbing, and thrillingly steep driving.

Moab is my favorite place right now. Its amazing. Arches, Dead Horse, Bryce Canyons, it is all amazing. Even if you just go to Moab it is amazing!
