This is one of our favorite hikes in Canada -- still a little snow in July. Amazing views/changes and scenery and overall top notch. This is our second year traveling to Yoho to do it. If you do the loop in 1 day -- the last 2 miles seem to last forever, but it's worth it.
Such a beautiful drive - and a plethora of incredible scenes along the way. All the stories you've heard about the beauty of this drive are true. There are so many scenic lakes just on the drive - however, a stop at Peyto lake is very worth the short jaunt off the parkway; you can't believe the view. Athabasca Falls near Jasper is a sight to behold; we made the trip from Canmore to Jasper and back easily in a day, and still had time for stop-offs... however, the more time you can exploring this area the better. We missed seeing so many things.
