A very scenic and colorful drive through Cedar Canyon. Expansive views to the north open up into the Ashdown Gorge Wilderness Area. Be sure to stop at the Zion Overlook just before the junction with UT 148 to Cedar Breaks. In the distance are views into Zion NP. We unfortunately drove the route east and had the sun in our eyes for most of the ride.
