A great tour of the flatlands of southeastern Massachusetts, the Sharon Cruise wanders through quiet back roads of Sharon, Mansfield, Norton, and Foxboro. From the quaint suburbia of downtown Sharon, the route visits area attractions such as the Great Woods/Tweeter Center outdoor concert facility, which has hosted many major national and international acts during its twenty years of operation, and the more recently built Norton Country Club, home of the Tournament Player’s Club of Boston’s annual PGA Tour golf tournament. Most roads along the route are flat and pass through quiet residential or wooded areas with little traffic. Based on a route designed by the Sharon Road Bike Club, the Sharon Cruise is a great tour of suburban towns south of Boston. The roads are mostly quiet, passing through residential neighborhoods and wooded areas, though there is ample opportunity to visit some major area attractions.
