On the St. Clair River Cruise, you?ll ride along waterfront, to historical sites, through farmland and coast hills?all in less than 50 miles. The varied scenery, terrain, and range of things to do in Port Huron make the St. Clair River Cruise appealing for lots of different riders. Groups with riders of varying ability can reconnoiter easily in Port Huron, Ruby, or Wadhams along the route. Depending on your taste, you can stroll shops, docks, or museums in Port Huron or take a break in one of the restaurants. The Blue Water Bridge, a double span connecting Port Huron with Sarnia, Ontario, is another highlight of the ride. Using your left hand as a convenient map of Michigan, St. Clair and Port Huron are located at about the knuckle of your thumb. Despite this, the communities aren?t considered part of the Thumb, the rural, halfway-up-north communities along Lake Huron north of Port Huron. They?re also beyond the reaches of the metro Detroit area to the south, though the industry along the banks of the St. Clair River is a fact in common with Detroit, and both gaze across at Canadian shores. Terrain: Flat to rolling. Some hills around Ruby.
