Escape the urban bustle of Michigan's second-largest city, Grand Rapids, on this relaxing rural ride in northeast Kent County. The gently rolling route departs from the large and scenic Warren Townsend Park and wanders north past wooded lots, scenic farmland, and five lakes. An artesian spring, a historic church, and five cemeteries are some of the highlights. On Wednesdays you can also watch?or participate in?road bike races at Grattan Raceway. Terrain: Flat to gently rolling.
