Stalls piled high with fresh fruits and vegetables, buckets of colorful and fragrant flowers, bags of pungent spices and aromatic coffees, whiffs of smoked sausages and fresh donuts, the cackle of hens, and the shouts of vendors vying for customers—Soulard Market is an eye-popping, nose-tingling, and wallet-friendly adventure. One of the oldest city markets in the country, it has been in continuous operation on this spot since 1779. Special attractions: Quaint neighborhood with nineteenth century architecture; oldest, continuously operating farmer’s market; Anheuser-Busch Brewery, great restaurants and live music.

Soulard is a great place to vist or hang out at. Soulard is a good place for party's and even a good place to take the family. The market place is also a good place to shop for fresh fruits and vegtables especially on a saturday morning.
