Most tourists visit the ever-vibrant area around Faneuil Hall/Quincy Marketplace. While there, see quaint, historic North End. The North End was the place to be in the eighteenth century. The fashionable and important lived here. Here you will find the oldest buildings in Boston and many of Boston’s connections with the Revolutionary War, including touchpoints with Paul Revere and his “Midnight Ride.” Its old Copp’s Hill Burial Ground is fascinating. Special attractions: Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, Haymarket Square, historic buildings, monuments and statues, dining and drinking spots, Paul Revere’s House, Copp’s Hill Burial Ground, Old North Church, and Italian ethnicity and charm.
