Amazing hike. Beautiful creek runs along trail. Many spots for pictures. A waterfall at the beginning. The hike going up to the summit is strenous took about an hour of uphill climbing. The view at the top is spectacular!! A surprise up there too great photo ops:)
Beautiful Trail and great views. Marked well at the beginning but when we reached the top of the mountain we realized the map didn't go that far and there were no trail markers. Be careful there is private property.
Nice trail, starts out gradually going up a river canyon and then works its way up the side up the mountain and joins with a dual track on the ridge. The adjacent river is really pretty, and the view from the top is fantastic, I could see all of San Luis Obispo as well as out to Morro Bay. Only caveats are that some parts of the steeper parts of the trail are fairly narrow, it can get pretty muddy after the rain, and you may encounter livestock blocking the trail.
