Towering 30 feet over 1.5 miles of Manhattan’s West Side stands the spectacular High Line. Now a world- renowned tourist attraction and much-loved park, the High Line is constructed on a historical elevated freight rail line that for years stood unused. The structure had been an eyesore in the neighborhood, collecting trash and casting an ominous presence in an area that had seen better days.
