With its recent extension all the way to Borgen Boulevard, the Cushman Powerline Trail now extends for 6.2 miles. That’s 10 kilometers—a popular running race distance.
Leave a vehicle at one end of the trail and start at the other, and train for this distance by doing the trail one-way. It makes for a perfect conditioning route too, with its long gentle inclines and declines and several short, steep sections.
