On this trip, you’ll ascend Lenox Mountain’s east-facing slope over bony ledges to its summit and then descend along gurgling brooks and tranquil hemlock ravines. After registering at the office (trail maps available here), cross the gravel drive and begin at the south end of Pike’s Pond Trail, immediately opposite the office. Sanctuary trails are blazed blue outbound and yellow returning.
