A pleasant hike through a diverse coastal forest to superb views from the mountain’s summit. Mount Agamenticus is a perfect hike for a family outing or anyone interested in exploring a unique coastal habitat. The panoramic views from atop the 692-foot summit are well worth the minimal effort required to scale the mountain. This trip is especially enjoyable in summer or during fall migration when hundreds of raptors may be seen passing overhead.
