A family day-use and camping seaside area where the Merrimack River meets the Atlantic Ocean. This is a first-class state beach with clean, airy rest rooms and changing facilities. It’s a good idea to wear beach shoes with rubber soles because you’ll be climbing a jetty and walking along a stone wall. Special Features: long, sandy beach and dunes, boulder jetty at the mouth of the Merrimack River, green crab fishing for kids, and nature center, playground, and changing rooms.
