An isolated pond and marsh trail away from the crowds of this popular family-oriented park. Greenfield State Park is an engaging site well designed in separating from each other the areas for tent camping, RV camping, picnicking, swimming and canoeing on Otter Pond, and especially nature trail walking.
The predominantly evergreen forests on soft rolling hills are well maintained and invite carefree walks in the woods. The first part of the Hogback Pond Trail leads you to an open-sided, irregular-shaped pond. The last half guides you through airy woods on an effortless path. The trail is located far from any of the noise from the 252 campsites and swimming beach.
