Turtles everywhere, pretty scenery, frogs, beaver, birdlife, raptors, and ducks are yours to enjoy on this quiet waterway. The Rancocas Watershed drains 350 square miles in south-central New Jersey. It comprises the Rancocas Creek Main Stem, North Branch Rancocas Creek, and the South/Southwest Branch Rancocas Creek. Although a large part of the watershed lies within the New Jersey Pinelands, it is the only Pinelands waterway that drains into the Delaware River instead of the Atlantic Ocean.
