Crystal-clear waters will entice you to peer for fish in this unique marl lake where abundant birdlife can be found. White Lake is totally enclosed by the 665-acre White Lake Wildlife Management Area in the rural countryside of western Warren County. Vegetation between the wide launch area of the lake and the road consists primarily of tall grasses, shrubs, saplings, and a few trees. At the launch, thick stands of phragmites backed by shrubs and trees provide ample screening from the road. In recent years, thick posts have blocked the sand launch access. Because of this, you’ll rarely see anything other than canoes, kayaks, and rowboats on this lake.
