The Pasquotank River Trail stretches 21 miles northwest from Elizabeth City and has two separate camping areas. The Goat Island and Northside areas both have double camping platforms, meaning each area has two separate wooden camping platforms connected by a boardwalk—perfect for a small group of paddlers to enjoy some isolated riverside camping with a little bit of privacy from each other as well. The platforms are 16 ! 24 feet, and as an added bonus, both camping areas also have an enclosed area for you to use your own portable toilet in privacy. There are no facilities whatsoever, so be sure to bring all your food, water, and supplies along with you.
