Vista Point is on the western bank of Jordan Lake. There are two camping areas within this part of the recreation area, and both are designed for group camping only. Although these group camps are just a short walk apart, they are polar opposites.
Jordan Lake is obviously the highlight of this and every campground within the recreation area. Vista Point has a boat ramp for motorized boats and also has a sailboat launch area. There’s a
sandy beach here, but no swimming is allowed. The nearest swimming area would be either Seaforth or Parker’s Creek. You can try your hand at fishing, but be sure you have your state fishing license before casting your line. If you enjoy hiking, two loop trails wind through the Vista Point area. Reservations are required at both the RV and tent campsites.
