This wonderful small community park gives you a lot of bang for your buck! The campsites are tent only, and some of them sit right on the edge of a lovely little fishing pond. The camping here gets pretty hot in summer, but the park has a swimming pool, so if you do camp here in summer, at least you have a way to cool down. There’s a playground, a volleyball net, horseshoe pits, a fishing pond, and picnic areas. They even loan out fishing rods, and on occasion, the park will lead guided nature hikes along the hiking trails. If you prefer to hit the trails on your own, you can try your hand at navigating the geocaching course.
