Copperhead Island is a great place for a large group of friends to just get away and get outside and play! If you’re the one planning the trip, rather than dealing with the logistics of getting several campsites together, you can simply rent the entire island. And you must do exactly that if you camp here. Talk about privacy! The fee includes a picnic shelter that can accommodate up to eighty people, six lakefront campsites, a volleyball court, horseshoe pits, and four boat ramps. So bring your boat, canoe, or kayak; grab your fishing pole (and applicable licenses); and enjoy this camping experience by land and water.
