Surprisingly well maintained, this wonderful group camp has a group fire ring, paved paths, a large picnic shelter, and hiking trailheads right on the property. Its short distance from downtown Hot Springs makes this a convenient location, just in case you forget to bring the marshmallows or graham crackers to make some s’mores. After a long weekend overseeing the Scouts, treat yourself to a massage, or take a dip in water from the hot springs at the Hot Springs Resort and Spa. Be advised, however, that you won’t actually be in the spring itself. The resort pipes natural mineral water from the hot springs up the river into man-made hot tubs.
