Simply put, the Tsali area is a mountain bike mecca. Known throughout the country as a favorite mountain biking destination, Tsali offers bike-in/bike-out capability. But Tsali is not limited to just that. The trail system alternates on a regular basis from mountain biking to equestrian, and hikers are always welcome. The trails run alongside Lake Fontana, affording spectacular lake views as you enjoy the fresh mountain air. With opportunities for fishing and boating as well, it’s no wonder this place is so popular. Now for the bad news. Tsali seems to have been designed to fit as many people as possible. With the amount of “traffic” in this area, the goal here is to get out and play. If you’re looking for peace and quiet and privacy, I suggest heading down the road to Cable Cove. If you want easy access to a great trail system and don’t mind a little crowding, then Tsali’s your best bet.
