Horsetail Falls is a scenic destination in a thick-timbered canyon for ambitious hikers who enjoy making a trail-less final approach to a lesser-known cascade. At normal water level, you can ford the stream and scramble to the base of the falls without too much difficulty. Although you will likely encounter mountain bikers, this trail is a bit quieter if other nearby trails are too crowded for your liking.
